Biographie
Après des études de batterie, chant et percussions au Centre Musical et Créatif de Nancy (CMCN), le chanteur-percussioniste et compositeur Meta s’installe à Paris en 1995 à l’appel de François Moutin, et participe à l’enregistrement de l’album d’André Ceccarelli INIT (Polygram) aux côtés de Nguyen Lê, Bob Berg et Nica Stewart.
La même année, il rejoint Daniel Casimir, Louis Moutin, Linley Marthe et Michael Felberbaum au sein de « Bad Elephant ». Groupe de scène avant tout, la formation évoluera pendant cinq ans.
Meta produit son premier album Secret history en 2001, avec le label Greenjay et accompagne différents artistes en tournées.
En novembre 2007 sort son deuxième album Epigram – Nocturne -
Son 3e album The Sweetness of a Saffron Wind est actuellement en préparation.
